Delete Your Golden Art Account

How to request account deletion

You can delete your Golden Art account and associated personal data directly in the mobile app. No email or support ticket is required.

1. Open the Golden Art app on your iPhone or Android device.
2. Sign in with your registered mobile number.
3. Go to the Profile tab (bottom navigation).
4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are deleted immediately.

If you cannot access the app (for example, you no longer have the device), email goldenartapp@gmail.com and include the mobile number registered with your account. We will verify ownership and process your deletion request within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Your phone number and display name
• Your account profile and consent records
• All rangoli photos you submitted and their stored image files
• Submission metadata (titles, contest entries, approval status)
• Votes you cast in contests
• Your Firebase Authentication login credentials

What data may be kept

• Aggregated, non-identifying analytics (for example, total contest participation counts) that cannot be linked back to you
• Server or security logs retained for a limited period for fraud prevention and legal compliance, then deleted or anonymized

Retention for inactive accounts

If you do not delete your account manually, personal data for inactive accounts may be automatically deleted or anonymized after 12 months of inactivity, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Partial data deletion

Golden Art does not currently offer deletion of individual submissions or profile fields without deleting your entire account. To remove specific data, delete your account using the steps above.
